Statementoff ExecutveDirector: The month of May 31st 2022, I left Nigeria for a program organized by Mobility International USA- MIUSA. I landed at Eugune, Oregon in USA and met beautiful women with disabilities from different countries who came for the International Institute On Women Leadership and Disability (WILD). We experienced and learnt alot within the 18 Days spent there. It was fun, it was learning new things, it was facing our fear head on to overcome it, it was building our confidence to be bold, passionate and loud.

Coming back to Nigeria, SAVWIN organized her WILD Nigeria on 27th and 28th October 2022. Although MIUSA asked we just take a topic and it should be for a day, SAVWIN felt just one day won't be enough to teach as it should. We took on Health and Wellness with 2 other resource persons invited to teach along me, such topics as: Disability Rights ( CRPD), Reproducive Health Diseases and infections/ STI, WWD and GBV, empowerment activities ( relaxing by the riverside and cruising the river in the speedboat), Mental Health and WWD, Sexual Reproducive Health and Rights, and a Penel discussion on Female Genital Mutilation took place for the 2 days program. It was so educative, refreshing and exciting. A wheelchair was also donated.
